Our dear friend Din Ahmed is set to be executed in Bangladesh in the next few weeks.
Possibly as early as the last week in January.
He has run out of legal options and now all we can do is plead with the president of Bangladesh and prime minister of Bangladesh to grant Din mercy and commute his death sentence of life-in-prison.
Many of you know Din personally. You know what a kind and gentle man he truely is. You know Din is an honorable man who is innocent of the crime for which he was wrongfully convicted. But we can not overturn his verdict and we can not get him out of the Bangladesh prison.
Our goal now is to let the Bangladesh government know that we believe Din's execution will not heal Bangladesh but, instead, will only promote the continuation of violent revenge that is part of that country's history.
As Ghandi said, "An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind". We need your help to stop the blindness.
Our goal is humanitarian. Not legal. Not political. Our goal is to save a life.

Please let Bangladesh know Din is not a forgotten man. Please ask them to spare Din's life. Please don't let them hang Din.
